National incentives
The incentive system aims to get apprentices working in secure jobs that are in demand, filling skills shortages. This will help build a more inclusive and sustainable economy.
State funding
This is accessed through the Jobs and Skills WA Employer Incentive which supports Western Australian businesses who employ an apprentice or new entrant trainee.
Who We Are
We connect employers to apprentices in WA
The Apprenticeship Community is part of a national collective of Australian Apprenticeship Support Network (AASN) providers.
As the only service provider that is a registered charity in Western Australia, we invest 90 percent of our proceeds back into the community.
Every year, we help hundreds of employers in Perth, and other regions of Western Australia, secure government funding when hiring an apprentice or trainee.
We also offer advice and tailored support for apprentices, trainees and business, to support successful careers and skilled, productive workplaces.

What employers say
James Brightwell
Pioneer Credit"We knew The Apprenticeship Community was the provider for us. The team really knew their stuff, guided us through the whole process and told us how we could maximise traineeships in the business."
Mason Bagios
Kommunity Brew"The Apprenticeship Community explained the entire process and answered any questions we had as business owners. They made sure everyone signing up felt comfortable and understood the program. They even came out and met with each employee to explain the ins and outs of a traineeship."
Richard Harrison
Norton Gold Fields"They make the whole process painless and are very knowledgeable in the field. Sign-ups are quick and easy, they go out of their way to work with schedules and are always available for advice, both to the company and students."
Lisa O’Neill
State Manager WA, Carey Training"Working with The Apprenticeship Community is effortless. The staff know our business and what employers want. They’re always very helpful and willing to work in with our needs."
Les Palmer
Rustlers"The mentoring service for our trainees and apprentices is one of the main reasons we chose The Apprenticeship Community. It’s good for the young apprentices and trainees to know that there’s someone neutral to turn to regarding the difficulties of living life and trying to complete their accreditation at the same time."
